Purpose Prep Academy is seeking enthusiastic and qualified math and ELA tutors to join our online learning team to assist learners during our summer programming and upcoming academic learning year!

About the Role:

As a tutor at Purpose Prep Academy, you'll play a vital role in supporting learners on their academic journeys. You'll work one-on-one or in small groups online, tailoring your lessons to meet the specific needs and goals of each learner.

Responsibilities:

• Create Engaging Lessons: Deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the individual learning styles and goals of your learners.

• Personalized Instruction: Assess learner strengths and weaknesses, utilizing your expertise to create a personalized learning experience.

• Promote Mastery: Guide learners towards a deep understanding of core concepts in math or ELA by using a variety of instructional methods.

• Empower Learners: Cultivate a positive learning environment that fosters confidence, critical thinking, and a love of learning.

• Communication & Collaboration: Maintain clear and consistent communication with learners, parents/guardians, and other team members.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of math and/or ELA curriculum at the appropriate grade level (K-8).

• Experience working with learners of diverse backgrounds and learning styles.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to create a positive and encouraging learning environment.

• Passion for education and a desire to make a difference in the lives of learners.

• Efficient at utilizing technology to deliver learning programs to academic learners
